ENTWINE: Finnish Dates Cancelled
September 2, 2007Finnish goth-metallers ENTWINE have been forced to cancel three previously announced dates in Finland. "My jaw is still fucked up 'cause of the wisdom tooth surgery and I can't open my mouth properly, so for me it's impossible to sing," explained frontman Mika Tauriainen. "Just wanted to say how SORRY I AM for you who had plans to come to see the shows...and of course for the organizers too. This is the situation right now... Hopefully my condition gets better before the next weekend shows, so we don't have to cancel them too! I just wish that you can understand how hard and frustrating this is for me?! I'd rather be on stage and see your head-banging, than stay at home with this shit!"
The affected dates are as follows:
Aug. 31 - Pietarsaari, Diiva
Sep. 01 - Nivala, Tuiskula
Sep. 02 - Oulu, 45-special
ENTWINE's fifth studio album, "Fatal Design", was released in September 2006 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux via Century Media Records through a licensing deal with Spinefarm Records. The CD was recorded at Petrax and Groveland studios by ENTWINE drummer Aksu Hanttu and producer Janne Joutsenniemi (STONE, SUBURBAN TRIBE). The album was mixed at Finnvox by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM).
